This is why I prefer the GT. Seems most who buy the V6 Mustang, add on tons of extras, and this owner even talked about tuning the car to make it faster. By the time you get the final bill, you've surpassed the price of a GT anyway, so why not just cut to the chase and get the performance you really want right out of the box?
I'll admit I am not into bolt on stuff that adds no performance or value to the car. From the driver's seat, everything looks the same to me. If you spend around $30K on your modded out V6, and I spend around $30K for my GT, who has the better driving performance car? (and I don't have to do anything to it at 412 HP) I don't care what other people think about it, or if they gawk at it. They didn't pay for it, I did, so the only enjoyment I care about is my own. Just give me a black on black GT... Nice and stealth. I'll have fun driving it, while you have fun in parking lots looking at yours...

Congrats on a great car. After several V-8's I opted for the 4.0 on my last Mustang. It has ample performance, but I did add the cold-air system. It made very little difference in performance, so I'm not sure I'd even recommend it. I'd rather spend my money on things that can be seen anyway. Like a commenter on "Top Gear" said last week, you can't tell one Mustang from another anyway. They all look alike. I prefer a sharp looking exterior, to mechanical mods that no one can see.
