It sounds like you have covered the basics thoroughly. With the low mileage and the fact it has been sitting in the garage for so long, I would change all of the seals to ensure you don't have a vacuum leak. Next I would check the carburetor and distributor.
If your gas tank is still original, put a new one in. It might have rust and water vapor in it. A new fuel pump, filter, new carburetor, and it will run like brand new.
