Over 100,000 now: went into limp mode on Saturday, cleared using the service reset button. Broke down Sunday, the dreaded F, rode home in an AA recovery truck (great service, by the way). My social circle includes a mobile mechanic, code reader on: crank sensor faulty. Jacked & standed, one connector and one Torx bolt. New sensor fitted, starter relay bypassed: engine fired straight away. Switch off, F went to N (hurray!). Fault codes cleared, all good. Drove around today, no problems. In other words, a problem which could happen to any car: all fixed for £30.
