I have taken a ride and driven many Buicks, due to the fact that there are 3 in our family and my dad has been buying them for the past 50 years.

As a mechanic, I have also driven and repaired many Acura models. Sorry, but the Buick ride and reliability wins hands down. This includes the so-called horrible full size and midsize Buicks from the 1980's.

Yes, today many domestics are trying to copy imports; in the styling department that is, and if you ask me, I would say that the Buick LaCrosse is a poor excuse for a flagship Buick.

Way off. Domestic full size trucks are hot. Toyota sales dropped last month. The worst cars I ever owned were Acura TL models bought new (trans after trans). But in turn, new Legends I owned earlier were exceptional. If you want to dwell on the 80s, I agree, find a used low mileage Toyota or Honda made in Japan. After 2000, I will pass!
