Hello. I bought my 1984 Toyota short bed pick up new. It has been my main vehicle for all these years. It hardly needs anything repaired and has NEVER needed any major work. My friends and relatives who have had their low mileage/newer vehicles crapping out on them, are surprised when I tell them about my truck's sturdy reliability. Why doesn't Toyota look at replicating the incredible 22R engine with its nice mileage, amongst all the other quality aspects?
I have 169,000 miles on mine, great compression, etc. Go figure.

I love my 1984 Toyota Pickup. Has 136800 original miles. I drive it, but not very much. Needs new seat and some electricals, but that is it. NO engine problems.
