Please elaborate as to why this is an "unsafe truck design". The separation of the cab from the bed mentioned in the previous comment does not signify any defective design nor construction, considering the cab and bed are NOT attached to each other on ANY body on frame pickup truck, including your 1995 F150 (the only exception was the unibody Ford truck built from 1961-63). The fatality of the previous commentor's husband, while unfortunate, was almost certainly unrelated to the fact that the bed and cab separated in the accident. If you think having the bed and cab as one piece is a safer design, go trade your F150 for a Honda Ridgeline!
