People are not buying a 250k sports car unless it’s blistering fast. Saving pennies on electric or fuel isn’t even a remote factor. It better be very special as there are amazing alternatives in that price category.

Depends how you use a car though. If I lived in a busy city and did not travel much, I'd get a Tesla. If I drove hundreds of miles per week, I'd get an economical diesel car.
