Wrong. The Cutlass was available with a 350 V8 gasoline engine in 1978, with either gas or diesel 350 from 1979-1980, and diesel only from 1981-1985.

Awesome car by the way, made from '78-'80 in body colors black and gold or white and gold. Of all the GM divisions, the Olds 350 was one of the best.
