It’s a smart assumption to assume most cars aren’t bought. I suggest you check the statistics. 70-80% or even more of a lot of luxury car brands are leased, not bought. Just one example. The average car loan is over $40k now. The vast majority of people do not seem to make wise financial decisions when acquiring transportation.

Good for you. I've never had debt because I simply buy what I want to buy including the house we bought for cash. Because we save and work hard. To each their own.
