The review is for the newer model year 1991 UK based XR2i version of the Fiesta, which in this updated car has 102bhp, not bad in a car that only weighs about 900kg. Good enough for 0-60 in 9 seconds and tops out at about 120mph, similar performance to the Golf GTI, Astra GTE and many similar other hot hatches of the time.
Also they normally had 1.6 engines, the review says 2.8, which is either a typo or a heck of an engine swap in this car!
