I’m rather curious as to why a catalytic converter would tend to be stolen off of one particular vehicle as opposed to another. They are all sold for the metals so it seems odd. Not doubting your claim.

Yes it's a problem here in the UK as well, the value of precious metals contained in these exhaust systems has risen significantly, so unfortunately so has the theft of them.
