Had the Renegade a year, and a hard worked 13000 miles.
Nothing has broken. Cost me only an interim service.
It was truly mint when I bought it, now it looks like crap because I use it on a farm 5 days a week. However it is still a lovely place to be, better than it has any right to be offroad, and in snow, and shows no sign of giving up any time soon.
Gearbox is still the worst I have ever used, and if I do sell this car, that will be the reason.

I service any used car I buy as soon as I get it. If the requirement is anywhere near I change the cambelt, plugs and ATF too. It is avoiding unreliability.
I did not buy the car from a dealer, but a private owner, who discounted the asking price when I pointed out the cambelt service was near. An independent Fiat/Alfa specialist did the work for me at a third of the cost of a Jeep franchise.
