This comment is totally off base.
...the original review says they purchased the car with 6 miles on it. How can you blame neglect? Buy a car, drive it for two hours and it doesn't start back up, because of neglect? Are you supposed to service a car at 6 miles old?

This was funny...
How is it neglect when you purchase the car brand new, drive it for two hours, turn it off and it won't start back up? I did regular tune ups, how is that supposed to stop the tail lights from melting? Poor maintenance is one thing, a lousy design is another, and the 91 Jetta is a piece of crap!
