Not sold on the idea. Fiskar was another one with fire concerns. Buying and then living with vehicles are two different stories. I take trips. It’s a great feeling having a sports car which can be serviced most anywhere, parts are relatively quick and easy to access. And back on the road. It’s bad enough with many fuel models with this issue. Maybe in 20 years.

The advertised range for the Tesla Model S Long Distance version is 336 miles, but real life tests have shown that it will do 204 miles, and it will only go 204 miles if you stay at 56 mph and don't use the air-conditioning. Increase the speed to 70 mph and turn on the A/C and the range drops to 112 miles. Now granted that an electric car will be cheaper to recharge than filling up the fuel tank of a car, but it's worth paying more to resume your journey more quickly and not suffer from range anxiety.
